  26.   Let me add to the black list Compressed Targa. It may be fine for scanned
  27. images and stuff, but high-entropy images (like the ones World Construction
  28. Set produces) actually get BIGGER with compressed Targa.

  30.   I'm continually amazed by the abilities of IFF-24. The same image that
  31. freaks Targa will compress 30-45% with IFF.

  38.   PNG is very nice, and I hope more software supports it. Someday WCS will.
  39. The above image compresses 50+% with PNG. However, all the PNG writers I
  40. have are many times slower than the same image with IFF.
